  • Creative concept development
    • We curate the creative direction for your vision. We push the boundaries of design to create a vision that when you see, you know. ‘that’s the one.’
  • Kitchen, bathroom and laundry design
    • You’re not ready to renovate your entire home, but you need some help with certain areas. We help with single areas to elevate your home without the full build
  • Interior/Exterior Finishes
    • If you’re almost there, but are getting overwhelmed with the choice of finishes and don’t know how to pull everything together, ee select everything for you and present you samples online and in person so you can see and touch everything before they’re permanently installed
  • Joinery Design
    • We get into the intricate details of joinery design to create custom solutions taking into account storage, aesthetics and functionality. We create the most personalised and detailed solution for your new space.
  • Design Documentation
    • This is the technical documentation that the trades need to quote, plan, and build. These include finishes schedules, drawings, and plans.
    • This is the instruction manual for the whole project and is arguably the most important step in the interior design process.
  • Full-Service Design
    • Perfect if you’re embarking on a major renovation or new-build.
    • This Includes all services above, packaged into one neat project. From planning, to execution.
  • Styling and Decorating
    • Curated furniture and styling packages
    • Custom furniture
    • Trade discounts (this can range between 10-30%)
    • Logistics and ordering
    • Installation and on-site styling

Welcome to Maker Studio.

We’re a boutique interior design studio based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Servicing Sydney and beyond.

Founded by Zoe Maker, interior designer, stylist, and design manager.
With over 7  years of experience in the design, decorating, and construction industry, her unique knowledge in the complex design process allows her to design spaces that push the boundaries of creativity.

Our design philosophy is centered on designing spaces that stand out from the crowd. Something that looks a little different, but feels like home.
